Faith Conlon

Faith Conlon is a writer, editor and the former publisher of the Seattle-based company Seal Press, now a division of Perseus Book Group in Berkeley. She began her publishing career at Doubleday in New York in 1978 but moved in the early 1980s to the West Coast, where she has has lived ever since. Among her published works are I Wanna Be Sedated: 30 Writers on Raising Teenagers, co-edited with Gail Hudson, and the travel anthologies A Woman Alone and Go Your Own Way, both edited with Ingrid Emerick and Christina Henry de Tessan.

            Winter’s Stone is her first novel for children. She lives in Seattle with her husband and son, two cats and a dog.
